This is a photo taken in the Peak to Peak library of an oragami tree. I really enjoy the colors as well as the juxtaposition of the natural with the contrived. I think that it is well composed and without distractions. Would the photo be improved by changing it to black and white/ desaturating the colors more?

I don't think you should change it. I personally don't see anything wrong with it, I like how natural it is and not too heavily editted it is. The faded border is a good touch. Well done.
